Mason didn’t know which of the scene queens John was grinding with on the dance floor, any more than Mason knew why he’d dragged his ass to Church tonight. Halloween was an easy night to get laid, but it wasn’t just an itch that had him leaning on the rail on the second floor. The pole from the old fire station went right down to the stage, empty now except for a couple of guys dancing, one of them wearing nothing but a gold banana hammock, rubbing against the pole like it was his best fuck buddy.
John was giving the James Dean he was dancing with almost the same treatment. He didn’t seem off balance enough to use his cane. Mason knew all about how those hips worked, how that thrust and grind felt, how tight the ass under James Dean’s hands felt wrapped around his dick.
Remembered for damn sure since it was the last piece of ass he’d had. He’d gotten busy with the computer—it was almost ready to go, a few more tweaks from Lizzy on the casing—and then he just hadn’t been interested. He didn’t miss company. He must have scared the shit out of Lizzy with his talk about seeing Alex’s ghost because one of the housemates was always home when Mason was. He couldn’t get a glass of milk out of the fridge at three a.m. without someone shuffling by on the way to the bathroom, or to have a “snack”. Did she really think he’d kill himself?
He lost sight of John in a crush as the DJ tossed in an old Backstreet Boys song and the dance floor got impossibly crowded. When he found John again he was on the second floor, headed into the bathroom. He had to hang on to the balcony rail to keep himself from following him in, backing him into a stall and finding out what John had been learning.
John came out and went into one of the dark alcoves that had probably been where the bedrooms were. There were couches in them. Not much light. They weren’t designed for conversation.
No one followed John. James Dean was probably in there waiting for him. Except he wasn’t. He was back with the rest of the crew John had come in with. As Mason watched, Tyler grabbed James Dean’s arm and pulled him aside for a conference. Maybe James Dean had changed his plans.
Mason couldn’t think of a single good excuse for following John into the alcove. There was only one reason to be there. He couldn’t even muster up a lame excuse about reminding John about the fish bowls full of condoms left around the upstairs. He’d probably walk in on John bent over one of the couches. Blood pumped sweet and thick in Mason’s dick at the thought of yanking the guy away and taking his place. Would that ass still be good and tight? Would Mason still need to stretch him nice and slow before he worked it
